The hotel is obviously very beautiful. The room was spacious and the bathroom was really big. Really clean and great service from the concierge as they have a phone you can text any questions to while you are staying with them, for example we headed out one day and wanted our room made up so I just texted them and it was done. The rooftop of the hotel has a great bar and restaurant that is very busy most nights of the week. It was busy on the Monday night we went up there. The restaurant and bar are open to the public also. The food was really good and fresh, but quite expensive. The pool area is really nice and chill, with lots of sun beds and sunscreen and water for all guests. we really enjoyed our stay here.

We spent a quick evening in Santa Monica before returning to Seattle and couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay at Santa Monica Proper. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and their attention to detail is apparent in every corner of the space. Aesthetics aside, I had the most comfortable sleep at this hotel (even better than at home) and now want to know all about their bedding selection. Location and staff were also wonderful, and my only regret is not visiting their bar or restaurant.

Every detail is incredible and design can be found everywhere from how your room key is presented through to the thoughtful gestures like complimentary bottled water each day. The staff are super friendly, housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Overall incredible.

Great hotel with a good location. The staff was so good and helpful. Bonus that they had there own parking under the hotel. Our room was great, size of both room in general and the bathroom. It was clean and the bed was very good. The restaurants served good food and bonus was the pool at the rooftop.
